WELCOME TO OLD OAK
HOMESTEAD, WHERE LESS IS MORE...

There was a time in our lives when all we wanted was a country home, a place to grow a garden, and enjoy the quietude that comes with living in the country. Over the years we have experienced this dream unfold. In pursuing a life where less is more and wholesomeness is cherished a new desire formed; to share this beautiful life we live with others so that hopefully it will inspire you and your family. It is our greatest joy to share the lessons we have learned and are still learning along the way. From caring for our pets, apiary, and from our garden to the kitchen table, these lessons have taught us to better care for our environment. Most important it taught us how we can better care for one another.

Our goal is to create a community with those of you near and far, and hopefully inspire you to slow down and enjoy the simple things.

Welcome to Old Oak Homestead, pull up a chair, sit and relax for a while.

LIFE AT OLD OAK HOMESTEAD

SWEETER THAN HONEY...

Caring for bees is a school from which you never graduate. It is an endlessly interesting endeavor. Our Apiary is an important part of our Homestead because of the pollination provided by our bees, not to mention the 100% natural raw pure honey they give us!

Disasters disrupt our lives. Some disasters, like flood and home fires, can occur anywhere. Other disasters, like wildfires and hurricanes, are more common in certain areas. We are experiencing extreme weather more frequently. This increases our risk of death, injury, property loss and disruption. But we can take action to prepare. Prepare now to protect yourself, your loved ones and your home.
